While the temperatures have been frigid over the last week, the Coldest Night of the Year is still to come.
The annual fundraiser in support of those experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness is set to take place February 22th in Chatham.
Hosted by NeighbourLink Chatham-Kent, the Coldest Night of the Year aims to raise $80,000. Last year’s event brought in over $67,000.
The walk will begin at Grace Christian Reformed Church on Tweedsmuir Avenue West in Chatham with a light meal served afterwards.
