Striking college faculty will be holding a rally at St Clair College Windsor today, urging the province to step in to the almost two week long dispute.
A protest was held outside MPP Deb Matthews’ office in London yesterday, asking the Minister of Advanced Education to force the college employer council back to the bargaining table.
While Matthews wasn’t in her office, she has said previously that the province needs to let the collective bargaining process work.
Roughly 12,000 instructors, counsellors, and librarians walked off the job on October 16th, canceling classes at 24 colleges across the province.
OPSEU members will be holding rallies at various college campuses today.
