ComeTogetherCK Holding Online Women’s Health Q&A

A local community group is kicking off a series of women’s health events by shining a light on an important but often overlooked stage of life for many women.

Come Together CK is conducting a live and interactive Perimenopause and Menopause Q&A on Facebook Live starting at 7 o’clock tonight, featuring Dr. Jessica Smith, an obstetrician and gynecologist at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

“Women often navigate this stage of life without the information or reassurance they deserve,” says Dr. Smith in a news release. “My hope is to normalize these conversations and provide practical, evidence-based information that helps women better understand what’s happening in their bodies. When women feel informed, they can make confident choices about their health.”

Dr. Smith will take questions and help clarify the changes that occur during perimenopause and menopause, such as hormonal shifts, physical symptoms, and emotional transitions that can deeply impact quality of life.

Women of all ages are invited to participate by joining live or submitting anonymous questions in advance to info@cometogetherck.com.

Additional women’s health events will be held by Come Together CK in the coming weeks, each designed to offer education, connection, and community-based support.
