Provincial Police have been cracking down on commercial vehicles across southwestern Ontario.

Authorities say a two-day blitz was held across the region this week, stopping 23 passenger vehicles, 51 transports, and one bus.

Of the transports stopped, 30 were charged with following too closely and 7 charges were laid for distracted driving, along with a handful of others.

As for the passenger vehicles, 14 charges were laid for speeding, 7 for distracted driving, and one for stunt driving.

The driver of the bus was also charged with following too closely.
