Almost a dozen vehicles have been pulled off the road following a safety blitz in Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent Police teamed up with the Ministry of Transportation on Friday for a commercial motor vehicle operation and safety check.
In all, 21 vehicles were pulled over for inspection. 11 were taken out of serviced, one set of plates were seized, and 26 charges were laid.
Authorities say inspections like this will continue throughout the municipality in the days and weeks ahead to keep all road users safe.
