It’s in the early stages, but Wallaceburg councillor Aaron Hall is raising the prospect of creating a community hub for Wallaceburg.
Hall says multiple community groups and organizations in Wallaceburg have expressed an interest and need for a new space.
Hall says a lot of community groups have expressed a need for a larger space to properly do what they need to do, as well as achieving their mandates and goals, including the Wallaceburg Concert Band and the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre.
Hall’s motion for creating a new community space in Wallaceburg is scheduled to be debated by council at their November 18 council meeting.
If approved a report about possible community hub options and opportunities will come back to council by April of next year.
