Community Living Chatham-Kent is working to improve services to local residents with intellectual disabilities.
Executive Director Ron Coristine says the agency recently received a four-year FOCUS accreditation.
“What it does is let (the community) know that what we are doing, we do well,” Coristine says. “Any areas that require improvement, we are going to improve in so when you look at the big picture, it’s going to make us a better agency, and that’s really the bottom line.
Coristine says the accreditation, which is a voluntary processes, adds credibility to the agency and speaks to their commitment to quality services.
