The Chatham-Kent Public Library is teaming up with Employment and Social Services to give area residents a helping hand.
As part of a one-year pilot project, two Community Resource Advisors will be offering one-on-one instruction in accessing government, social, and health services online, providing referrals to social service, employment, and educational programs in the community, and helping with skill identification and finding new career opportunities.
The advisors will be available at each of the 11 library branches in Chatham-Kent by appointment.
