A local man is facing an impaired driving charge following a traffic stop in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers received a complaint about a possible impaired driver on Wednesday at around 7 p.m.
Authorities located and stopped a suspect vehicle on First Street. After the driver failed a roadside breath test, he was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testing.
As a result, a 58-year-old Wallaceburg man is now charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released with a July court date.
