A Blenheim man is facing charges after concerned citizens reported a potential impaired driver.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were contacted about a possible impaired driver who had left a business on Marlborough Street in Blenheim at around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
A vehicle was located and stopped by police shortly after. The driver was arrested after showing signs of impairment, and he was taken to police headquarters for further breath tests.
As a result, a 57-year-old Blenheim man is now charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released with a future court date.
