Construction is expected to start right away for an affordable housing apartment complex in Blenheim.
The three-storey building will consist of 17 units, including 15 three-bedroom and two four-bedroom family units.
Chatham-Kent received nine bids for the construction of the apartment complex.
The construction tender for the project is expected to be awarded to Jayden Construction during Monday night’s council meeting. The company’s bid came in at the lowest at just under $9.8 million.
