
Almost $6.6 million worth of contraband nicotine products have been seized at the Blue Water Bridge in Sarnia.
Over the course of three days, Canada Border Services Agency officers stopped commercial shipments coming from the United States.
Between August 7 and August 10, three commercial drivers were stopped. In the first case, authorities say almost $2.8 million worth of nicotine vapes were found, followed by an estimated $835,200 worth of nicotine pouches, and close to $3-million in nicotine pouches in another shipment.
The CBSA has not released whether any charges have been laid.
