A Chatham man convicted of murdering three people hopes to make full parole in the near future.
Jason Shawn Cofell murdered Jasen Pangburn and Alfred and Virginia Critchley in October of 1991.
Pangburn was shot, the other two stabbed in their home.
Cofell has been on day parole since May of 2016 without incident.
Officials say he is at low risk to re-offend and meets with a psychologist every six to eight weeks, and they are recommending he be granted parole.
Conditions of his release would include avoiding contact with family members of the victims and continued counselling.
