An arrest has been made in a case of some stolen copper wire a year and a half ago.
Chatham-Kent Police say the investigation began in April 2016 when a man sold some copper wire to a local scrap metal company.
However, staff later realized the wire had been stolen from some transport trailers in the area.
A warrant was issued for the suspect’s arrest, but he wasn’t tracked down until last night.
The 30-year-old is charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
