A corny fundraiser is back for another year.
The Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation will be holding its third annual Cornhole for Hospice tournament at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham on Saturday, February 21, with proceeds going toward ensuring the hospice continues to offer quality end-of-life care.
Participants are encouraged to collect pledges for a chance to win a set of custom cornhole boards and other prizes.
Teams are guaranteed three games in a random round robin style tournament before being split into two divisions for a double-elimination tournament. The winning team of each division will receive a cash prize.
37 teams took part in last year’s tournament, raising over $51,000 for the hospice foundation.
