A disturbance in St Clair Township has left a Corunna woman dead and a man facing second degree murder charges.
Provincial Police were called to a Riverside Drive residence early on the morning of December 31st.
51-year-old Cheryl Vanhuizen was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accused, 51-year-old Shawn Trowbridge has been remanded into custody.
Authorities say this was an isolated incident and there is no concern for the public’s safety.
