Chatham-Kent has a number of boards and committees that both councillors and members of the community will sit on during the next four-year council term.
At tonight’s council meeting there will be an announcement on the committees and boards Chatham-Kent councillors will sit on and which volunteers will sit on the boards and committees.
Receiving plum roles this term will include Brock McGregor as budget chair for another four years. McGregor was budget chair for the last four-year term as well. Councillor Marjorie Crew will be the council representative of the Chatham-Kent police services board.
Aaron Hall will once again be chair of the Natural Heritage Committee, which will likely try and enact a woodlot tree preservation bylaw for Chatham-Kent sometime in the next four years.
