The efforts continue to rename the Lambton-Kent Memorial Agricultural Centre in Dresden after the late Ken Houston.

The former NHL player passed away in March at the age of 64. and the matter will go before Chatham-Kent Council Monday night.

Houston played 9 years in the NHL with the Flames and Caps recording 161 goals and 328 points in 570 games.

Houston also had 19 points in 35 playoff games.

He played his junior in Dresden and Chatham.

Dresden Jr. Kings President Dave Cameron is leading the charge, and says reaction has been all positive.

Houston was an inaugural member of the Dresden Sports Hall Of Fame
