The municipality is getting its financial ducks in a row as it prepares for the 2017 budget process.
Chatham-Kent’s draft budget will be presented to council later this week, kicking off the start of a three-week review process.
The meeting will include time for presentations from groups requesting funding or organizations who want to comment on the budget process as a whole.
A series of public meetings will be held the following week, on Tuesday the 24th at the Tilbury Arena, Wednesday the 25th at BDHS in Blenheim, and on Thursday the 26th at the Active Lifestyle Centre in Chatham.
All of the public sessions run from 4:30 until 6:30.
Budget deliberations begin February 1st.
