Chatham-Kent administration will be presenting their capital budget to council tonight at an online meeting.

The capital budget features a number of priority construction and special projects that the municipality plans on taking on this year.

Among the projects being recommended to go forward in the capital budget include: Lake Erie shoreline improvements, electronic records management and 911 improvements, Tilbury storm water upgrades, construction of new park facilities in new subdivisions, and various road construction projects.

For 2022, the assumed capital budget is $8.45 million, of which the province is contributing $1.9 million.
