A Chatham man is facing charges after a violent confrontation with his girlfriend.
Chatham-Kent Police say the argument began when the accused discovered his girlfriend was texting an ex, and allegedly grabbed her wrist.
When he finally let go, police claim the man became belligerent and ripped an item off the wall.
The 27-year-old has been charged with assault and mischief.
