Court House Plaque Taken

police signAuthorities are trying to track down a commemorative plaque that was stolen from the Chatham Court House late last month.

The 100-pound bronze plaque was mounted on a metal frame in the front garden on Grand Avenue West property, and is irreplaceable.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers say the monument can’t be sold or even melted down for scrap without raising suspicion.
