Testing for COVID-19 has now been extended to the Shoppers Drug Mart on St Clair Street in Chatham.
However, the swabs are by appointment only and are limited to those who are not experiencing any symptoms.
The tests are primarily for those who live in, work at or visit long term care homes, residents or workers in a homeless shelter setting, international students who’ve passed their 14-day quarantine, farm workers, Indigenous peoples, and anyone who needs a COVID test for international travel.
All appointments must be booked in advance by contacting Shoppers Drug Mart directly at (519) 352-3200.
Anyone else requiring a COVID-19 test should go through the CKHA assessment centre.
