A case of COVID-19 has surfaced at a Wallaceburg hardware store.
In a post on the Lowe’s Canada website, the company was informed on December 21st that an employee at the Wallaceburg RONA store had tested positive for the virus.
“The associate last worked on December 12,” the statement says. “We encourage customers who visited the store between December 8-12 to monitor for symptoms until December 26 inclusive (for those who visited the store on December 12) and call Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 if needed.”
Public Health has been informed and the store was closed earlier this week to undergo extensive cleaning and disinfecting, before reopening on December 22nd.
