COVID Cases, Hospitalizations Rise in CK

Another seven cases of COVID-19 have cropped up in Chatham-Kent.

With three resolutions in today’s update from Public Health, officials say the number of active cases in the municipality has risen to 36. 

Meantime, officials at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance say there are now nine patients being treated for the virus, two in the ICU, none of whom have been fully vaccinated with two doses. 

Province-wide, stats from the Ministry of Health show 486 new cases today. The number of patients being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals across Ontario has risen to 295, plus another 156 in intensive care.
