Another jump in Chatham-Kent’s COVID numbers over the weekend, including another outbreak.
Public Health is reporting 30 new infections since Friday and six resolved, raising the active caseload to 73.
A congregate living outbreak has been declared with six connected cases identified since Friday. Public Health staff are also keeping tabs on outbreaks in an unidentified workplace and Kids Connection Daycare. The outbreak at McNaughton Avenue Public School, first declared on September 25th, has been resolved.
Two Chatham-Kent residents are being treated for COVID-19 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
