The number of Chatham-Kent residents battling COVID-19 continues to climb.
CK Public Health figures show 125 new high risk cases since the last update on Friday, raising the seven-day average to 32 new cases a day.
There have now been 8110 confirmed cases of the virus in Chatham-Kent since the pandemic began, although Public Health stresses that is an underestimate of the true number of infections since testing has been limited since the beginning of the year.
Health officials keeping tabs on seven active outbreaks, including three group homes and four retirement homes.
