COVID Cases up to 4 in CK

Chatham-Kent’s COVID numbers are inching up ever so slightly.

Public Health says there’s been one new case identified, raising the number of active cases to four.

According to officials at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, there is still one COVID-positive patient being treated in hospital.

Vaccination rates continue to rise with 73% of CK’s adult population 18 and older with at least one dose and 34% fully vaccinated with both shots. 44% of the younger demographic of 12-17 year olds have now received at least their first dose of vaccine.
