A slight dip in Chatham-Kent’s COVID numbers today.
Public Health is reporting 5 new cases and 7 resolutions, lowering the total active caseload to 43.
No new outbreaks have been declared, and officials say no new infections have been linked to outbreaks at A.A. Wright, Ursuline College, or Hudson Manor retirement home in Tilbury.
There are also still two workplace outbreaks on the books.
Meantime, some Chatham-Kent residents have the chance to get the COVID-19 vaccine from their family doctor.
The Tilbury District Family Health Team announced Monday it has limited supply of the AstraZeneca drug and is booking appointments for existing patients who are 55 and older.
The vaccine rollout is expected to include more primary care practitioners in Chatham-Kent in the weeks ahead.
