COVID Numbers Rise on Walpole Island

As COVID numbers continue to climb on Walpole Island, the First Nations community is ramping up testing of students.

There are now 22 active cases in the community with 17 results still pending.

Testing for high school students will be held on Thursday, while elementary students will get swabbed on Monday, March 29.

Health Centre staff will be getting in touch with students and families to set up an appointment.
