COVID Vaccine Q&A Focuses on Women’s Health

A local group is hoping to increase awareness about COVID vaccines, especially when it comes to fertility and pregnancy.

Dr. Charles Hamm, Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will be answering questions and concerns on a special Facebook Live event this evening.

“We’re going to talk about fertility, how this vaccine relates or does not relate to their fertility, to their mensural cycle, long term effects, and we’re going to have a non-judgmental, simple conversation.”

Hamm says there’s been a lot of misinformation and confusion, especially when it comes to vaccine mandates.

“I believe in a person’s right to choose. Now choice, however, means knowing the truth,” Hamm says. “If somebody chooses not to get the vaccine, I’m fine with that as long as you have the truth, as long as you know what you’re doing.”

The forum is being hosted by Come Together CK, and gets underway at 7 o’clock tonight. CLICK HERE to take part in the discussion.
