Tens of thousands of Canada Revenue Agency staff are back on the job today after reaching a tentative deal with the federal government.

Some 35,000 CRA workers walked off the job on April 19th. The strike also involved 120,000 other public servants in a dispute with the Treasury Board, who reached their own tentative agreement earlier this week.

In a statement earlier today, the Public Service Alliance of Canada said the tentative CRA contract includes wage increases, significant new protections against layoffs, and improvements concerning hours of work, remote work, and seniority.
