Lambton OPP are investigating a fatal accident this afternoon at Petrolia Line and Kimball Rd.
They say at about 12:30 a transport truck collided with a vehicle.
One party was declared dead at the scene.
Another individual was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The intersection of Petrolia Line and Kimball Rd. will be closed for several hours for the investigation.
Police are asking motorists to stay clear of the area.
