A Harwich Township man is facing charges following a single-vehicle collision on Wheatley.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the collision on Wheatley Road shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police arrived to find that the vehicle had left the road and entered a ditch. Believing the driver had been drinking, officers took him into custody for further testing.
As a result, a 48-year-old Harwich Township man has been charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released from custody with an October court date.
