A woman is in hospital in London after a single vehicle crash outside Merlin. 
Chatham-Kent Police say a red Chevy Cobalt was travelling down Talbot Trail Saturday afternoon when it veered off the road, crashing into a tree and a Bell telephone box.
Three people were in the car – the driver was airlifted to London with life-threatening head injuries.
The other two passengers were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
