Crash Sends Woman To Hospital With Life Threatening injuries

A collision with a parked water truck has left a woman fighting for her life in the hospital.

Chatham-Kent OPP say a man was driving along Eberts Line near St. Clair Road early Sunday morning  when he crashed into the truck.

Paramedics rushed the woman to the hospital, while officers took the driver in for testing.

They determined 48 year old Kerry Rigaux of Chatham was over the limit.

Rigaux has been charged with driving a motor vehicle with more tan 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.

He has a court appearance September 7th to answer to the charge.
