Crashes Lead To Charges For Out-Of-Towners

Two men are facing charges following two unrelated collisions in Chatham-Kent.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said on Wednesday morning, officers responded to a three-vehicle collision on Richmond Street near Keil Drive in Chatham.

Following an investigation, police have charged a 24-year-old London man with careless driving.

Later the same day, police were called to Bear Line Road between Mallard Line and Dover Centre Line for a two-vehicle collision, which caused around $17,500 in damages.

As a result, another careless driving charge was laid, this time against a 58-year-old Essex man.

No one was injured in either crash, police said.
