Crashing Into Sign Leads To Impaired Driving Charge

A Raleigh Township man is facing an impaired driving charge after allegedly crashing into a sign in Blenheim.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers received a report that a vehicle was seen driving into a sign at a commercial parking lot in Blenheim on Saturday at around 1:30 p.m.

Responding officers located and stopped the vehicle on Communication Road and arrested the driver.

A 46-year-old from Raleigh Township is now charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released with a future court date.
