Canada Day was a blast all throughout the XS area. I went to St. Clair College, and the Active Lifestyle Centre for pre-Canada day festivities, games, and fun!
On Canada Day, I was all over the map! My day started out in Sombra for the Sombra community dock grand opening. There was many vendors at this event and there was a free pancake breakfast provided as well. Next was a Canada Day parade in Chatham! The streets of downtown Chatham were all filled with loads of friendly spirited Canadians celebrating their pride in calling Canada home for the last 150 years. I was at Tecumseh park for awhile and then I made my way down to Bothwell for more Canada Day festivities! They had a car show, kids inflatables, games, food, street hockey tournaments and so much more! Finishing off my night I headed over to Eriaeu for Canada Day activities on the beach!
Overall Canada Day was a blast with lots of fun filled activities that kept me busy all day long! I’m excited for what next weekend has to offer in the Summer Escape.
