A local man is facing several charges after a credit card was stolen during a break-and-enter in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to the break-in at a locked compound on Dufferin Avenue at around 10 a.m. on Monday.
A credit card was stolen during the incident and later used.
Following an investigation, police identified a suspect and arrested the 46-year-old Chatham-Kent man. He is now charged with theft under $5,000, theft of a credit card, possession of stolen property, possession of break-in tools, and two counts of unauthorized use of a credit card.
He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
