Police continue to be stymied in a bank robbery in Bothwell earlier this month.
Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers spokesman Dave Bakker says authorities are frustrated.
“”There is somebody out there that knows something. You hope they want to do the right thing and come forward and give us the information they have. Sometimes they don’t want to and that’s the frustrating part. It makes our job much more difficult,” says Bakker. “It’s not right that a bank robbery took place in a small community like Bothwell. It has a huge impact on the community and we just want to get it solved. We want to stop this type of behavior in Chatham-Kent.”
On October 12th, a masked man entered the Bank of Montreal on Main Street with what appeared to be a firearm hidden in his sleeve, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Anyone with information is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers.
