Law enforcement agencies across Canada will be scrambling to work out the fine print of Canada’s newly approved legalization of recreational marijuana.

Dave Bakker with Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers says there are a lot of issues that need to be dealt with when it comes to enforcement.

If you get caught in a car or a boat it’s the same as impaired driving.  People are saying you’re allowed to grow it at home and you’re allowed to have four plants,” says Bakker. “But what if you have six, or eight, or there are four adults, are you each allowed to have four plants?”

Bakker says a nyone crossing the border who smells like they’ve been smoking weed will likely be turned back, and that just because it will be your legal right ot smoke in Canada doesn’t mean it’s legal federally in the States.
