The Chatham-Kent police are reminding drivers about the rules and regulations surrounding crosswalks.
This comes as crosswalks are installed at a number of places across Chatham-Kent to assist kids getting to school.
Police say that it isn’t illegal to pass through a crosswalk when the lights are on, but is illegal to pass through when somebody is crossing.
Authorities add it’s important to teach children to use crosswalks properly and make sure that vehicles have stopped before they cross the road.
