A special event is coming up in Thamesville later this month to help parents keep their kids safe.
Chatham-Kent Police Service Special Constable Brenda Koldyk will be at the Thamesville branch of the Public Library the evening of April 17th to speak about online issues including sexual predators, trafficking, and luring.
Parents are invited to come on their own or bring any children over the age of 12 for a frank discussion about serious dangers children may encounter while online.
The hour-long event is free of charge, and will begin at 6:30 that night, no registration required.
