A teenager is fighting for their life in hospital following a collision in the Town of Essex involving a cyclist.
The Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called to Maidstone Avenue East at Cameron Avenue after a vehicle collided with a cyclist at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
The cyclist, a 14-year-old from Essex, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information or dashcam footage of the incident is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
