Chatham-Kent Police continue to investigate after a cyclist was killed. 
Authorities believe a 38-year-old Chatham man was biking westbound on Grand Avenue East just before midnight when he was hit by a transport.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No names have been released.
The police traffic unit is now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
