Cyclist Struck on Pain Court Line

An elderly cyclist has been air-lifted to hospital in Windsor following a collision in Dover Township.

Emergency crews responded to Pain Court Line between Bear Line and Winterline Road Wednesday afternoon. According to Chatham-Kent Police, a westbound vehicle collided with a bicycle heading in the same direction.

The cyclist, a 73-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Chatham. The victim was later upgraded to critical and taken by air ambulance to a Windsor hospital for further treatment.
