Cyclists Hurt In Separate Incidents

Two cyclists are recovering after being struck by a car in separate incidents. police-lights
The first collision took place around 3:30 Friday afternoon at the intersection of Sandys Street and Sudbury Drive in Chatham.
The female cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries, while a 21-year old Dresden man driving the car has been charged with making an unsafe turn.
In the second crash, a 16-year old Dresden boy was riding his bike near Base Line and Union Line when he was struck from behind. The teen was taken to hospital with what police describe as serious but non-life threatening injuries
The driver in that case wasn’t charged.
