A Chatham man has been charged after a neighbour dispute ended with damaged property.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a Lowe Street address in Chatham at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday after an argument between next-door neighbours escalated.
Authorities said a man kicked his neighbour’s door, causing damage to the lockset.
As a result, a 38-year-old Chatham man was arrested at his home and charged with one count of mischief. He will answer the charge in court next month.
