Dressing:
- 1 drop tabasco
- 2 to 3 shakes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 ½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
- Garlic clove, crushed to a paste
Rub wooden salad bowl with dab of oil and garlic. Tear lettuce into pieces. Add homemade croutons and bacon bits. Immediately before serving, pour dressing and top with freshly shaved parmesan.
